On and off the track
Adrian Sutil started 128 Grands Prix for Force India and Sauber between 2007 and 2014 without ever reaching the podium, and his most famous moment came at Monaco 2008, when he climbed from 18th on the grid to fourth in the rain before Kimi Raikkonen slid into him exiting the tunnel, forcing his retirement. His best finish ended up being fourth at Monza in 2009, where he also set the fastest lap. After a season as Williams reserve driver in 2015 he stepped away from racing, making only occasional Ferrari Challenge Europe appearances in 2022 and 2023. Today he lives quietly in Monaco and is known as a hypercar collector, with machines from Koenigsegg, Pagani, Bugatti and McLaren.
