Nelson Piquet's milestones
Between the 1978 German Grand Prix, held at Hockenheimring, and the 1991 Australian Grand Prix, Nelson Piquet (Brazil) built the whole career. The first win came at the 1980 United States Grand Prix West. It added up to 205 starts spread over 33 circuits in 19 countries, at 2.4 points per start. Nelson Piquet won the world title 3 times, in 1981, 1983, 1987. The most worn colours were those of Brabham, for 91 races.
