On and off the track
Bruno Senna, Ayrton's nephew, raced three F1 seasons from 2010 to 2012 with HRT, Renault and Williams. He then drove an Aston Martin in the WEC, spent two seasons in Formula E with Mahindra and became a factory driver in McLaren's GT3 program. His crowning achievement came in 2017 as WEC LMP2 world champion with Rebellion alongside Julien Canal, sealed with a heroic drive in the Bahrain finale, and in 2020 he finished second overall at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Rebellion. He remains active in motorsport, with guest outings in Brazil's Stock Car series and tributes to his uncle, including driving the Lotus 97T at Estoril in 2025 to mark 40 years since Ayrton's first win.
Bruno Senna's milestones
Between the 2010 Bahrain Grand Prix, held at Bahrain International Circuit, and the 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix, Bruno Senna (Brazil) built the whole career. The on-track high point was a P6 finish at the 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix. It added up to 46 starts spread over 21 circuits in 20 countries, at 0.7 points per start. The most worn colours were those of Williams, for 20 races.
The points peak came in 2012, with 31. From the debut in 2010 to the last season in 2012, every year in the table above has its own page; the titles of the period sit with the Formula 1 world champions.
