On and off the track

Mexican driver Esteban Gutierrez raced in F1 for Sauber in 2013 and 2014, served as Ferrari's reserve in 2015, and ran his final season with the new Haas team in 2016. After F1 he competed in Formula E and made IndyCar appearances, always staying close to the paddock. In 2018 he became a Mercedes simulator driver, a role he combined with reserve duties, and in 2024 he was appointed the team's brand and business ambassador, focused on strengthening commercial ties in Latin America, while also launching EDASI Drive, an official F1 merchandise distributor for the region.
