For a clean weekday baseline, 2026 has 261 Monday to Friday days and 104 Saturdays or Sundays when counted from January 1 to January 1 of the next year. That is the right starting point for international SEO because it works in every country before local calendars enter the picture. To turn this into a payroll or delivery promise, subtract public holidays from the relevant country and then subtract company specific shutdown days. If a deadline includes the final day, turn on the checkbox; if the end date is only the handoff moment, leave it off. The formula is simple on purpose: walk one UTC calendar day at a time, classify Saturday and Sunday as weekends, and count everything else as a business day.
