On and off the track
Pascal Wehrlein arrived in F1 as the youngest champion in DTM history, winning the title in 2015, and drove for Manor in 2016 and Sauber in 2017, dragging precious points out of limited cars before losing his place on the grid. His career blossomed in Formula E, where he became world champion with Porsche in the 2023/2024 season, the first German single-seater world champion since Nico Rosberg in 2016. He remains a Porsche works driver in the series, and in the 2025/2026 season he won in Jeddah in his 100th Formula E race, taking the championship lead.
