Among matchups with at least 10 games, the best record is against Zimbabwe (31 wins in 36 games, 86.1%) and the worst is against Australia (56 in 123, 49.6%). The heaviest chapter is the classic against Pakistan: 63 games in this sample, with 40 wins, 21 losses and 2 ties or no results. One fact to keep
India won the very first T20 World Cup in 2007 and in 2026 became the first country with three titles in the format, beating New Zealand by 96 runs in a home final. In ODIs, India lifted the World Cups of 1983 and 2011.
